Whole Wheat Sables by Alice Medrich
whole what pastry flour (used regular whole wheat flour) 255
unsalted butter, softened 210
vanilla extract 1t
Combine butter, sugar, salt and vanilla extract. Mix in flour until just combined. Roll into 2 logs and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Slice 1/4″ thick and bake in 170C oven for about 14 mins or until golden brown.
Note: Was too sweet. Use 1/8t more salt and 10g less sugar next time.
